The Big Picture
Digital prints, wood, string, pins

I had collected images of cosmologies and scientific theories for a long time without knowing what to do with them. They are most often circular diagrams, plans or graphs that act as a summary or comprehensive map of something. It may be that we try to define the extents of our universe, in the hopes that through this, we may also define our existence. But despite our efforts, knowledge and truth are never complete and continue to escape us. We have never had and we will never see the ‘big picture’. So I decided to make one. Over a hundred images of ‘absolute truths’ were pinned to wooden panels and connected one to the other.
