Landscapes of Love, Sex, and Desire
Pen and highlighters on paper. 55 x 130 cm.
The triptych displays the dynamics of human interaction across the realms of love, sex and desire. In brief, the work combines various concepts from the fields of psychology, sociology, biology and neuroscience in an ambitious attempt to arrange them into a grand unified theory of human sexuality.
The two distinct landscapes of love and sex are tied together by the common denominator of desire, the true origin to both. Dualities, triads, spectra, loops and paradoxes form a comprehensive map which serves as my guide to the intricate workings of love, sex and desire.
