A Manifesto of the Futures of Music
Portrait series and live drawing on chalkboard (800 x 220 cm).
I was asked to attend and document a three-day conference regarding the possible futures of music. I drew a series of analytical portraits that were paired with those of Italian photographer Fabio Paleari. The portraits depict electronic music pioneers Daniel Miller and Andy Fletcher of Depeche Mode, Laurie Anderson, Giorgio Moroder and Jean-Michel Jarre in their own words. In addition, a manifesto was drawn up during a live-drawing marathon where I chronicled the thoughts of the speakers and condensed this information into a single, comprehensive diagram.
